DS: Guitar Hero On Tour Review

IGN.com did a hands-on review of Guitar Hero on Tour for the Nintendo DS. Not really my kind of game, but still – great hardware for the DS. And for them to be able to replicate the gameplay of a console game onto a portable gaming device is awesome.

    i’m a die hard guitar hero fanatic.
    what i’m worried about is that because of the missing 5th fret button, it will not be as difficult as the normal GH3 expert.
    have they addressed this issue? it wont be fun for someone who is used to 5 buttons, expert mode to suddenly play on a medium difficulty level.

    That’s not the review.

    sLK – I read in my magazine that they have made it so even though it only has four buttons, it will still be challenging for expert players :) I’m just worried that I’m going to suck on the fast strumming parts o_O;;

    This looks awesome. But it’s $50 D: Whatever, it’ll keep me busy on all of those long vacation car trips xD

    guitar hero one tour decades:

    pros:
    cool game. nice tunes. some of it already in guitar hero world tour.
    rad hardware for ds.

    cons:
    after playing less than a minute into a song, your hands will be fucked. not that ergonomically friendly on them hands.
    to really enjoy it, your hands and lower arm must be in a straight position, but then the screen will be tilted so u have to tilt your head to read the notes, or learn how to read the notes vertically..

    still.. different ppl may stand differently.
