iPhone: Air Sharing

Your iPhone is now a portable HDD and a document reader. For just US$4.99 – you’ll be able to drag and drop documents and view them on-the-go! Ok, in all seriousness – this is really the best app out there if you wanna read some eBooks on your iPhone. Drag and drop simplicity. Well worth the 5 bucks! Only problem I noticed, it can’t handle bigger PDF files. So far, sizes between 5Mb to 10Mb is still fine. Tried loading a 52Mb game guide and it crashes. Afterall, it’s a mobile phone.

Kindle DX

Just when you thought it’s safe to get the new Kindle 2 back in February, Amazon released a bigger, better Kindle DX with a 2.5 times bigger screen 3 months after. Kindle DX has a 9.7″ diagonal e-ink screen reads like real paper; boasts 16 shades of gray for clear text and sharp images. The Secret: You Kidding Me?

Ed asked me to watch this DVD with him earlier this evening and I thought, why not? I’ve seen this book cover and heard some rave reviews by a colleague of mine but never really quite got down to the gist of what it was all about. So, I grabbed myself a packet of strawberry flavored Pocky and an open mind. I knew I was in for some preposterous shit 10 minutes in but I resisted to walk away thinking maybe it’ll get less fucked-up. And according to the teachings in this DVD, my experience got fucked-up because my mind was sending out signals to the universe saying this DVD is fucked-up. The Secret, in a nutshell is you’ll get what you want as long as you ask, believe and receive which is the foundation of the laws of attraction. In other words, you’ll get what you think or feel. If you feel bad, more bad things will be attracted to you and vice versa.
