Mirror’s Edge: Completed

mirroredge_soundtrack

I’ve just completed Mirror’s Edge minutes ago. One word. OhMyFreakinGosh!!!!! Technically, thats still one word. Its like nothing I’ve ever played before and I think those guys over at DICE did a damn fine job with it. If I were to rate it between 1 to 10, I would definitely give a 9.5 for its gameplay. For comparison, I would only give a 7.5 for Metal Gear Solid 4. If you own a Playstation 3 or Xbox360 – you owe it to yourself to give Mirror’s Edge a go. If you’re unsure whether you’ll like it, there’s a free demo available for download on both systems. And the  soundtrack. Love love love love it. The main theme “Still Alive”  is by Lisa Miskovsky and she has released a remix album featuring world renown DJs such a Paul Van Dyke and Armen Van Helden. To be honest, I think both of them butchered the track beyond recognition and thank goodness they’ve included the “butcher free” originals on the album.

    Matthew

All the big games for the year are here, tough time being a gamer. So many good games, so little time. Have not touched Call Of Duty: World At War for 4 straight days now – and thats saying a lot. Gonna start with Prince Of Persia now. So, Call Of Duty just gotta wait.
