Mirror’s Edge: Downloadable Content

Mirror’s Edge will take you about 8 to 10 hours to complete. Apart from the story-mode or single player mode – that game has Time Trials and Speed Run where you can attempt to compete with the best times recorded by other players globally. Believe me, some of these guys are fast. The tracks available for these are stages from the game itself. Mainly requires you to go from point A to point B in the shortest time possible while running up stairs, jumping over buildings, climbing fences and stuff. Once you’re done, your time will be recorded and uploaded for comparison.  EA and DICE have announced details on Mirror’s Edge Downloadable Content (DLC). In late January, players will be able to download nine new races for the Time Trial mode. According to the press release, these levels will have “no guns, no cops, and no city: this is true aesthetics, agility and flow that will challenge any runner.” The nine new races will cost $10. However, PS3 owners get a special treat. All owners of the game can download an additional tenth race for free from the PlayStation Store. Yippie! Images of these tracks after the break:
