American Idol: Season 8

After almost 2 months of hilarious auditions – American Idol Season 8 finally kicks off in all seriousness. This week, they have moved to the big stage where one-by-one, will be kicked off until the last one is crowned as the new American Idol. Performing songs by Michael Jackson this week – I liked Danny Gokey’s performance of PYT (Pretty Young Thing). I am betting he would be in the finals. Here are my American Idol predictions:

After watching the first rounds – I think Adam Lambert will be the next American Idol. Followed closely by Danny Gokey. My guess on which will be eliminated tomorrow? Anoop Desai and Jorge Nunez. Let’s see if my predictions are correct.

He was silly to have chosen “Beat It”. That song is just way too big for him. I do agree with what Simon said. His performance was pure Karaoke and a bad impersonation at best. Adam Lambert on the other hand brought his personal style into his rendition of “Black Or White”. That’s the difference. Bye Bye Anoop.
