Analyst Expects PS3 Price Cut This Summer

Analysts have been saying it and Sony has been denying it. The truth of the matter is a major price cut is inevitable if Sony wish to remain competitive – regardless how Sony feels about it. The next 12 months are critical to regain market share particularly with Nintendo losing some momentum and with Microsoft likely introducing a new gesture-based user interface. Analyst expects a price cut of US$100 off the current US$399 price tag. To be fair, I think the Playstation 3 is a far superior piece of hardware compared to the other 2 in the market. With it’s blu-ray capability, 80Gb hardisk and free online gaming – I don’t know what everyone is complaining about.

It’s marketing – and sentiments. This is a good machine for the price but….

Personally, I have no complaints about this machine. Not being a fanboy, but come on, these people gotta compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges. Until the Nintendo Wii and Xbox360 can do what the PS3 does, then they can complain that its expensive.

Yes yes yes! Hv you decided on your car!?

I am lost – for some reasons I could not decide quickly! It is ahem, now, between a new Camry, a new Prius (hey, this is the best statement I could represent myself with – vehicle wise), or a Bimmer 323, or IS 250 or …..

It is all about security. new camry = ppl steal again. new prius = maybe too small. bimmer 323 = sure die die kena attack. IS 250 = price is not right…..

Accord 2.0 = once I had a 2.4 camry, the short coming / feeling of a 2.0 is clear. Further, the interior is not something I like. Accord 2.4 = good drive but less refined than a camry, this is OK except it is all BLACK inside, cannot tahan. Somehow I got use to Camry’s interior – and even the instruments with optitron looks pretty, well ….

    send me your thoughts man.

By the look of things, I will hold on to the idea of a new car for the time being. Will wait another couple of months before jumping in. Somehow, its just not wise to get car thats been out for 2 years. Same goes for the Camry. Its gonna be like dejavu for you. Where’s the thrill of owning something new and different if you’re just gonna get the same car? You wouldn’t get another Canon 50D just because you lost one, would you? Naturally, you would move up to Canon 5D Mark II, like you did. Ahem ahem …

Honestly, between the Camry and the new Honda Accord. Camry looks dated. I’ve never driven one before, but I’ve always been one to choose looks over substance. Shallow, I know. Can’t help it.
