Movie: Terminator Salvation

tsalvation

Friday nite. Another movie outing with the gang. This week, its Terminator Salvation. Anticipation was high. Expectations were higher. Once the end credits started rolling, I couldn’t help but to feel the movie studio was merely flogging a dead horse. I didn’t want to believe the reviews given on rottentomatoes. A 33% for such a big summer blockbuster? You’ve gotta be kidding me. Now, I’m nodding away in agreement. Batman franchise reboot worked. They tried replicating the success by bringing in the guy who played Batman as John Connor. Did it work? Let’s put it this way. Computer takes over. Human resists. Human fights.  Machine fall. Machine rebound. Human vows to fight on. To be continued for two more rounds as a trilogy. Even the Terminators seem bored.
