iPhone: Air Sharing

AirSharing

In the most cheesy and cliché Infomercial-toned voice I say to thee – Ever wished you could download some PDF books onto your iPhone. Now you can with AirSharing from Avatron Software Inc. Your iPhone is now a portable HDD and a document reader. For just US$4.99 – you’ll be able to drag and drop documents and view them on-the-go! Ok, in all seriousness – this is really the best app out there if you wanna read some eBooks on your iPhone. Drag and drop simplicity. Well worth the 5 bucks! Only problem I noticed, it can’t handle bigger PDF files. So far, sizes between 5Mb to 10Mb is still fine. Tried loading a 52Mb game guide and it crashes. Afterall, it’s a mobile phone.

Oh God of Gadget long time no chat (busi like hell here)….

There is another one that gives you the password option – Filemagnet, not too bad either.

BTW, any idea when the new iPhone will arrive here? They already put up on apple.com/my website….. what a materialistic world….

Wahhhh! The zen guru is back! Busy is good. A sign of good fortune for businessmen like you. Will check out that app you recommended. I am having a blast with my current iPhone and I really don’t see a need to upgrade to 3G S. Instead, am actually thinking of exploring with HTC Hero when it comes out later next month. At least that’s a totally different device. The 3G S just doesn’t cut it for me. I want a new experience. Not an identical phone …

So u getting it? For you it’s a different case as you are not a current iPhone user. Good device. Just not a good enough reason for an upgrade for the early adopters.

Insider sources from Maxis are whispering a late July early August release. So, shall see if it’s all nothing but some crazy ass rumor.
