Maxis: Giving Out Rebates

If you’re one of those who signed up for an iPhone 3G prior to the launch of the latest iPhone 3GS – look out for a letter containing info on getting a rebate of RM500 towards your next upgrade. I got 3 friends who signed up just a couple of days prior to Apple’s announcement. So, most probably I’ll snatch the rebate off them. I wonder if there are any restrictions in place.

This is what I’ve gathered so far from local forums:

    – purchase the iPhone 3GS 16/32GB outright
    – no contract involved, stick back to your current iValue plan
    – no deposit required for booking
    – RM500 cannot be deducted from RRP.
    – Pay full RRP price but the RM500 will be credited to your account over 5 months
    – 1 month waiting time or less (they will sms/call for collection, but if more than 1 month just show up to collect)

    Another con job la …….
