MacBook, Arrived

Didn’t expect it to arrive so soon. But when I was at the Mac shop yesterday, there it was. All white and glossy. Ever ready to tease and taunt every passer by with it’s sleekness. This was the machine that helped me come to my senses against getting the Sony Vaio X. Not because of its color, but of it’s performance and ability to run both OS. Am not comparing functionality of the Sony Vaio X and a MacBook or MacBook Pro. That would be unfair – more of dollar for dollar value comparison in meeting my needs to get online and having a small netbook for net access on-the-go. Without a doubt, the Sony Vaio X win hands-down in technological achievement. But I am not born with a silver spoon – so the price tag did help pull me back to earth from gadget-sphere.

Sony Vaio X can’t run Mac Os X. It’s an easy decision for me.

Haha. Apple FanBoy alert! I’m pretty sure those who get the X is not because of the ability to run Mac OS but portability and weight. It meets a different set of needs. But the X is a damn fine machine. πŸ™‚
