HTC HD2 Launched In Europe & Asia, Today?

htchd2-411

According to Engadget, this was launched today in Asia. I did a quick check on HTC’s South East Asia website – going through Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia, still not updated or were there any indication of it’s availability. Well, not that I am interested in getting one, just find it amazing how HTC could be launching so many phones in such a short period of time. Besides, the spotlight seems to be on Moto’s Droid at the moment. Afterall, its Windows Mobile. Meh ….

UPDATE: Ah, yes. It is. In Taipei. Attended by Steve Ballmer as well. Click here. Priced at NT$25,900 (about US$796) – hitting the rest of Asia by the end of November. So with such pricing, can we all agree that we are done with the gloomy economic climate?

Before iPhone comes into the picture, I have actually thought of getting an HTC. I held back because the OS is Windows Mobile.

How’s Hero doing… the OS good?

As a phone. I have very little complaints. No lag whatsoever. As a media device. Nothing in the market can come close to iPhone. But as a phone, social networking connectivity and all. I like it. But as mentioned in my previous post. I wanted a new user experience. Wanna take a break from iPhone until the next real update comes along. I’m still an iPhone believer. Can’t wait to see what they’ll do next.
