Happy Birthday, PlayStation

Today, it’s the 15th Birthday of PlayStation. Thank you Sony – for all the great memories. I remember drooling over the demo of Battle Arena Toshinden. Man, to me – that was the ultimate. Seeing those jaggy character slashing those jaggy little swords on a CRT tv screen was precious. I had to wait almost a year before I got one of my own. But man, it was worth the wait. I remembered holding the disc and wondering how in the world a disc could be black in color. Ahhh, the wonders of technology.

PlayStation has done a great deal to gaming industry. Hopefully Sony marches forward with more and more innovation in many more years to come.

Yeah. They came out of no where and knocked the big boys off the track. They did everything right with the first PlayStation One. What a brilliant machine it was.
