I am not kidding. I am. But my book will be published in limited copies. Like 5-copies. Sad huh? And readers – my family & friends. Even sadder. Retailing price – Free. Okay, this is darn right depressing now. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about – there’s been such services 2 to 3 years back. Turning your photos into an actual book. I got one as a gift from my friend in Japan 2-years ago with photos taken during our trip there. In Malaysia, the last I checked – a 40-pager, soft cover book will cost around RM250 each. Now, after a long while – I was surprised that the price is currently at RM60+ with a promo code. Now that’s more like it. So, if you wanna fulfill your dream of publishing a book, however self delusional you may be (like me), then visit Photobook Malaysia by clicking here.

I learned a new word today while watching Jennifer Aniston’s new movie, Love Happens. The word she wrote on the wall behind the painting was quidnunc. According to the Merriam Webster dictionary – it means a person who seeks to know all the latest news or gossip or an overly inquisitive person or simply – a busy body. Bah! Humbug! That word made a busy body sound so sophisticated.
In the most cheesy and cliché Infomercial-toned voice I say to thee – Ever wished you could download some PDF books onto your iPhone. Now you can with AirSharing from Avatron Software Inc. Your iPhone is now a portable HDD and a document reader. For just US$4.99 – you’ll be able to drag and drop documents and view them on-the-go! Ok, in all seriousness – this is really the best app out there if you wanna read some eBooks on your iPhone. Drag and drop simplicity. Well worth the 5 bucks! Only problem I noticed, it can’t handle bigger PDF files. So far, sizes between 5Mb to 10Mb is still fine. Tried loading a 52Mb game guide and it crashes. Afterall, it’s a mobile phone.

Ed asked me to watch this DVD with him earlier this evening and I thought, why not? I’ve seen this book cover and heard some rave reviews by a colleague of mine but never really quite got down to the gist of what it was all about. So, I grabbed myself a packet of strawberry flavored Pocky and an open mind. I knew I was in for some preposterous shit 10 minutes in but I resisted to walk away thinking maybe it’ll get less fucked-up. And according to the teachings in this DVD, my experience got fucked-up because my mind was sending out signals to the universe saying this DVD is fucked-up. The Secret, in a nutshell is you’ll get what you want as long as you ask, believe and receive which is the foundation of the laws of attraction. In other words, you’ll get what you think or feel. If you feel bad, more bad things will be attracted to you and vice versa.
