Google Wave, I’m In

First off, I wanna give a shout out to my friend Virtualess for sending me the invitation for Google Wave last week. Today, I’ve finally received the email from Google to activate my Wave account. I gotta be honest, even at the point of posting this – I don’t have much clue what’s Google Wave is all about other than it’s a beta and invites are insanely limited. Again, thanks mate! You’re the best! Time to watch that looooooong video.

Testing: Posting Via Email

While going through the Dashboard here in wordpress, I noticed a feature that enables blog posts via email. If you wish to enable it, all you have to do is to go to your Dashboard, click on My Blogs. You’ll see the Post Via Email option on the right. Clicking enable – the page will generate an email address. On your phone or device, just email anything to this unique email address and your post will be live. Sent a photo I snapped earlier of the view from the 29th floor of my office and here it is – posted and live. This is neat. Thanks wordpress.

Gd Morning Dear

Received this message at 6:44 am this morning. Have no idea who is it from. Definitely wrongly sent to my number. Good for her to be so much in love, so early in the morning.

Break-up Rules, Revisited

Recently, I’ve got 2 break-ups brought to my attention and in case those people are reading this – let’s revisit words of wisdom by the goddess of all break-up rules, Ms. Carrie Bradshaw. “Break-up rule #1, Destroy all pictures where he looks sexy and you look happy”. Then, meditate on this for the next 3 days – “I will not be the first one to speak. And if he never calls me again, I’ll always think of him fondly – as an asshole”. Last but not least, something from Miranda – “Believe me, I would love to be one of those people who’s all; we loved, thank you, you enriched my life, now go and prosper. But I’m much more; we didn’t work out, you need to not exist”.

HTC: Peep Is Fixed! Yay!

For the past week or so, HTC Hero’s Twitter app – Peep has been feeling kinda under the weather due to the Twitpocalypse II bug. Not only will it fail to update new tweets from Twitter, it even affected my clock on the homescreen. The weather widget on the clock just doesn’t update. It could be showing a sun and saying partly cloudy at 9:00pm at nite and a moon saying clear sky during lunch. Yeah, it was that wonky. But things are back to how it’s supposed to. HTC twitted about 10 hours ago saying that Peep has been fixed! I almost shed a tear of joy while reading that. Thank you HTC and Twitter …. sniff sniff. I hope I’ll never see that darn error message ever again.

He Does, She Did, We Do …

Today, it’s a big day for our friends AT and LK. They’ve just signed the dotted line and agreed to irritate each other for the rest of their lives. We do hope you guys will have a wonderful time at it. Sorry we couldn’t make it to the ceremony, it’s too brutal to witness a life sentence so early on a Saturday morning. I guess congratulations are in order?

Are You On FaceBook?

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, is proud to announce that the Facebook community has surpassed a major milestone; 250 million users. I think what he failed to disclose is how many of these 250 million accounts are actually active? That I think would be a more interesting figure. I, for one has 2 facebook accounts. One by mistake and the 2nd by choice. Neither active on both. I still don’t like the invasion of privacy on how everyone and anyone knows every tiny bit of actions you took. Eg. So and so added A, B tagged your photos (which I hate most – I find people who does this without your permission is outright rude) and A has commented on B’s wall. That, to me is not social networking. That’s just plain old invasion of privacy in disguise and I’m not a fan.
