Will someone from the Whitehouse please teach the President the proper way of holding a camera! If you think what Obama did to a Canon is an unforgivable sin – wait till you see the following photo of Canada’s Prime Minister, Stephen Harper.

Google Chrome

googlechrome

Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer and easier. I’ve never used it because it’s currently only available for Windows. So I can’t say much about it other than they have the best introduction comic ever! Click here to read it. Its great! Side note, is it me or does the logo looks a tad like Pokemon’s? Hmmmm …

Samsung Unveils Its First Android Phone

I am not sure what’s all the fuss about Android phones. I’ve seen demos on Android’s official website and what the apps can do – but somehow, it all just felt a little like Linux – something only the tech geeks can appreciate. Can it hit mainstream? I mean, look at iPhone and it’s interface. Can this really push the boundaries? Interface wise, I’m not a fan.

Sony PSP Slide! Go! Flip! Whatever!

Regardless of what Sony decides to name it’s rumored UMD-less Portable Gaming device – if the picture above is any indication on how it looks, I ain’t buying. Unless of course, if it comes with accelerometer, touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera and 4G online multiplayer connectivity. Who am I kidding? I’ll buy every damn thing that carries the Sony Playstation logo.

iPhone Lite by Summer ’09?

ipad

According to reports by BusinessWeek, Apple will be releasing 2 new devices as early as Summer ’09. According to BusinessWeek, “One device is a smaller, less expensive calling device described by a person who has seen it as an “iPhone lite.” The other is a media pad that would let users listen to music, view photos, and watch high-definition videos, the person says. It would place calls over a Wi-Fi connection. One of these devices may be introduced as early as this summer, one person says”. The Apple Media Pad is bigger than an iPhone but smaller than most NetBooks out there. From the artist rendition posted on BusinessWeek, it looks like a closed MacBook Air with a touchscreen on the outside.

Blu-ray: Bolt, HK Edition

I’ve actually given up on receiving this and treated it as a missing in transit item. It was shipped out by PlayAsia on 26th March and normally it will take about 10 days to reach me. I’ve written to PlayAsia and there’s nothing much they can do as I’ve opted for free shipping which is not trackable. So when I saw the admin staff came walking with a PlayAsia envelope in his hand – I knew it was Bolt. It took 1 month for it to get to me, but it was worth the wait. Just finished watching the movie with Cantonese soundtrack voiced by Jacky Cheung. Imagine hearing “wo shuo ni xing ni jiu xing” in a Disney movie. It was hilarious.
