Do you ever get the feeling that you’re bombarded with Mother’s Day ads everywhere you turn? You switch on the radio, ad assault. Flip the newspaper, ad assault again. Go online, more in-you-face ad assaults yet again! I just don’t subscribe to such commercial ideology. Take a look at the ad above, it’s so offensive! Almost obscene! Ok ok, I am pissed because I am not going back this weekend and all these ads are making me feel that I should. But my parents know, I don’t just celebrate their kindness every May and June. Hah! Take that! You blood sucking, manipulative, mind bending, false-guilt imparting Corporate Maggots! (phewwww, ok, I’m done now)

I don’t subscribe to such propaganda. Roll eyes! Besides, I just came back from the clinic (10:28pm) and the good female doctor gave me a nice jab on my butt. Was on MC today and gonna be too tomorrow. I really need to change my car soon. Always injuring myself getting in and out of the car. Ed’s brother finally getting his BMW next month and I’ll take over his Honda CRV. So, will pretty much be staying put at home and recuperate this weekend. Whooopie!
I have to strongly agree on that point you have made. Mother’s Day is no longer just a day about mother’s its become a day/event where all these competitors fight for business just aiming to make money, at the end of they day they don’t really care about mothers their only concerned about filling their pockets up with cash!
Not only does it projects the society with a guilt trip of not literally “buying” something for mum which traditionally isn’t even necessary. The whole point of mothers day is just a day to show mum you appreciate her for everything she has done, compared to materialistic things which only really mean jack shit!
Society has been so brainwashed into thinking that they must buy their mothers something for mothers day, as if its the only way to show mom how much the really appreciate her. Human and advertising we really believe anything that is shoved in our faces… I sometimes feel ashamed to be a human but knowing that one must be on step ahead of the rest.. what do you say?

All these commercials make me puke. Yup, thats what they’re implying and you ain’t filial if you’re not buying your mom or dad a new massage chair, bird’s nest, jewelry or whatever fuck else they’re selling.
And these gullible humans taking it all in, makes me sick to the bones. If they’re only getting something for their dad or mom on one particular day of the year to show one’s care, then I feel sorry for them.
Damn. Why are we so pissed? Guilt? That we’re not buying in to such ideology?

You tell humans you can live on the sun wearing after eating a special supplement humans will believe it they are all that pathetically guillable you tell them buy mum this massage chair and she’ll love you.
What a hunk of bullshit, mum loves you gift or no gift and if some fucking idiot can believe that after sending his mom a bunch or flowers once a year and that’s enough to show mom how much he appreciates her i have no words left for that person.
