Krabi, Thailand

phiphi_1

Today, I’ve booked 2 trips. The first was my Gold Coast trip followed by a last minute entry, Krabi, Thailand. I don’t know what’s gotten into me today. Am not even a beach person. But booked 2 trips to destinations famous for its beaches. As of now, already 12 people are on board for Krabi. I believe more to be added tomorrow. Krabi is known for its beautiful islands made famous by Leonardo DiCaprio after his movie, The Beach – which was shot on Phi Phi Islands back in 2000. Am finally making an effort to visit places I’ve never been instead of going back to the same cities over and over again. Hey, an all inclusive return ticket for RM133 – how could one resists? For more photos of Krabi, continue:

The flight from Kuala Lumpur to Krabi will take about 1:30 mins. Departing from LCCT at 12:05pm and arriving at 12:25pm, Thailand’s time is 1 hour behind ours. As Krabi is on the mainland – the journey from its airport to the pier will take 30 to 45 mins. From there, its a 42km boat ride to the Phi Phi Islands which will take another 1:45 mins.

The ferry from Krabi to Phi Phi Islands departs daily at 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. We might or might not be able to catch the 3:00 pm ferry to Phi Phi Islands. If thats the case, we will have to spend 2 nites at Krabi and only 1 nite at Phi Phi Islands.

Our flight back to Kuala Lumpur at at 12:50 pm. So, we will definitely need to be at Krabi the nite before. Unless we charter a private speedboat from krabi to & from Phi Phi Island Village (Suitable for families and small groups up to 8 persons including luggage). James will find out more from the travel agent tomorrow.

OMG!!! that is so CHEAP!!!!! you are one lucky fella being able to explore and experience so many different places. Your camera will definetely get a good work out. And besides i guess holidays don’t always have to be about shopping right!? Being able to relax and just enjoy the surroundings is good too. I’m so jealous =S

Awwwwwwww … come on! Your car is insured. You should be celebrating cuz you’re getting a new car sponsored by Kurnia! So, have you decided what you wanna get? Toyota Camry again?

Yup. Its madness. Air Asia has been a blessing to us. Travelled to many places with ridiculously cheap tickets. People do wonder, if Air Asia will still be here next year. But hey, I’ve got enough deals from them before to say its ok even if they take my measly RM533 I paid for both Gold Coast and Krabi.

    BM,

Honestly I am lost with the cars selection. My dream car = Lexus GS300 but i can’t afford. So goes Beemers (ppl will rob me!). What say you? Don’t mind a Camry but it is getting boring now…. Accord maybe?….. Audi A4 not so nice…..

Yup, you got that right. Camry is really getting boring. I really like the new Honda, but then again, I’ve always been a Honda guy. So, it would not be a fair recommendation. Hey, I will be heading to the Honda Showroom at Old Klang Road tomorrow, wanna come with? I wanna get a trade-in value for my car for a CRV. Most probably be there around noon. Interested?
